*Terms and Conditions of Booking

All bookings are accepted subject to our Terms and Conditions: please ensure that you have read the published brochure. 

Please note the Pay by Date for each conference.

1. Provisional Booking - All provisional bookings are provisional until they have been confirmed by you ie. your confirmation turns your Provisional booking into a Confirmed booking (see 2. Below for explanation of this change of status). Provisional bookings may be cancelled at any time by us or by you, without any liability for either party. Provisional bookings not confirmed will lapse at the Pay by Date (see 3. below) and are liable to be issued to those on the reserve list without notice.

2. Confirming your Booking - A booking is confirmed when you contact us to confirm the booking or you confirm your attendant numbers or when you pay for the booking, whichever happens first. When bookings have been confirmed they must be paid for in full for the numbers confirmed. Bookings may be confirmed by phone, by letter or by using the form on the website.

3. The Pay by Date - Please pay for your tickets by this date to secure your tickets. If you cannot do this you can only secure your tickets by confirming your booking (see 2. above). Provisional bookings not confirmed will lapse at the Pay by Date and are liable to be issued to those on the reserve list without notice.  

4. Places are subject to availability. If a conference is full then we will offer places on the reserve list.

5. Payments cannot be refunded for non attendance or cancellation by students or schools.

6. Speakers will not necessarily appear in the order in which they appear in the brochure.

7. We reserve the right to amend programmes, without notice and at our sole discretion, where circumstances dictate. Positions / jobs of speakers are correct at the time of printing of the conference flyer but are subject to change at any time.

8. Where circumstances compel us to cancel a conference, before the day of the conference, our liability to you is limited only to refunding any payments you have made to us for tickets at the time  of cancellation. Where circumstances compel us, on the day of the conference, to cancel, amend or end early a conference we will have no liability to refund to you any payments made to us or costs incurred. 

9. Students attending the conference must be supervised directly by staff from your institution. We reserve the right, entirely at our discretion, to ask any unsupervised students to leave the conference without notice. 

10. This conference is organized by PolEconUK Ltd. PolEconUK.org is a trading name of PolEconUK Ltd.

11. Where ‘other providers’ or organizations attend and offer services (seminars/sales any other services etc.) at the conference, such services are the sole responsibility of the ‘other providers’. PolEconUK Ltd offers no warranty for the quality of such services or their suitability for any particular purpose. Such services may be withdrawn/ modified without notice. Access to these services does not form part of the ticket price. 

12. Storage of Data - If you contact or book with PoleconUK either via this website or by other means, you give consent to PoleconUK Ltd. to store normal business details of the transaction on our computer system and paper files. These details will include your name and contact details as well as the commercial details of the transaction together with other related correspondence. Using this information PoleconUK Ltd will, where necessary use these details to make contact with you about the booking. Please do not make a booking if you do not consent to this data storage.
